On July 12, in Buon Don commune (Dak Lak province), the Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with relevant units to organize a ceremony to launch and deploy tree planting.
This activity is to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and respond to the program "For a Green Vietnam" in 2025.
At the ceremony, the Green Road Club presented 16,000 star trees and ironwood to units of the Provincial Border Guard.
Of which, 8,000 trees will be planted at the Training - Mobile Battalion; the remaining 8,000 trees will be allocated to be planted at border posts and affiliated agencies.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Huu Thao - Deputy Political Commissar of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command - affirmed that in recent years, the unit has always closely coordinated with agencies, units and localities in tree planting activities, bringing practical results.
The tree planting movement has spread strongly, becoming a cultural beauty in the border guards and in border areas.
Thereby, contributing to environmental protection, climate regulation, disaster mitigation and building a green, clean and beautiful landscape at the forefront of the Fatherland.
