On the afternoon of April 28, the Standing Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision to merge and establish Quang Binh Radio and Television Newspaper.
According to the decision, Quang Binh Newspaper and Quang Binh Radio and Television Station will be merged into a public service unit under the Provincial Party Committee, named Quang Binh Radio and Television Station.
Quang Binh Radio and Television Newspaper includes print newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio and television. The working headquarters after the merger will be the first at the headquarters of Quang Binh Newspaper and the second at the headquarters of Quang Binh Radio and Television Station.
The contents of the work are to ensure operation according to the convergence court model. The total number of positions assigned to Quang Binh Newspaper and Radio and Television Station in 2025 is 160 people, with 8 specialized departments, a decrease of 50% compared to before the merger.
The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee also appointed Mr. Dinh Tung Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Quang Binh Newspaper - to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Quang Binh Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.
Mr. Dinh Tung Lam was born in 1967, from Ba Don town, Quang Binh province; political qualification: Senior.
Before becoming Editor-in-Chief of Quang Binh Newspaper, Mr. Dinh Tung Lam held the position of Director of Quang Binh Provincial Radio and Television Station.
