The Startup and Innovation Center under the Department of Science and Technology of Ca Mau province organizes the 2026 Startup and Innovation Forum, aiming to find solutions to arouse the spirit of entrepreneurship and promote growth.
Speaking at the opening, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ca Mau province Quach Van An said that the forum is a space for management agencies, businesses, experts and young people to dialogue and propose solutions to develop the startup ecosystem.

According to Mr. An, Ca Mau has a lot of potential in marine economy, agriculture, fisheries and ecotourism. However, to transform it into real value, it is necessary to build a strong enough startup ecosystem, capable of nurturing and developing creative ideas.
The province identifies the role of creating a favorable environment, perfecting mechanisms and policies, connecting resources, creating conditions for businesses and young people to boldly start businesses and innovate. At the same time, it emphasizes the need for companionship from the business community, experts and young entrepreneurs themselves.

At the forum, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan affirmed the province's commitment to supporting the startup ecosystem. In which, the province will continue to improve mechanisms and policies in a transparent direction, reduce procedural barriers, and create conditions for new ideas to be tested and developed.
The province will also invest in and effectively operate the startup support ecosystem, with the Startup and Innovation Center as the core, connecting a network of experts and investors to support startups from the idea formation stage to incubation, acceleration and commercialization.
In addition, the province will maintain a periodic dialogue mechanism with businesses, promptly remove difficulties, especially for innovative startup projects; and at the same time support access to capital, market, technology and high-quality human resources.
One of the important orientations is to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among young people, students, creating an environment for young people to dare to try their hand, accumulate experience and develop from practice.
Leaders of Ca Mau province expect that after the forum, the ideas will be concretized into actions, contributing to the formation of a dynamic and creative startup community, contributing to local socio-economic development.
