The conference was chaired by Politburo member - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and organized online with 34 locations across the country.
The conference was also attended by Politburo member - Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Central Party member - President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen, leaders of ministries, branches, domestic and international organizations, and leading female entrepreneurs of Vietnam such as Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao - President of Sovico group.

The project "Supporting women in start-ups in the period of 2017 - 2025" (Project 939) implemented in 8 years has recorded good results, mobilizing nearly 443 billion VND from the state budget (Central level is 79 billion VND; Provincial and municipal levels are nearly 364 billion VND) and 211 billion VND from socialized sources (Central level is nearly 36 billion VND and provincial and municipal levels are over 175 billion VND) for start-up activities. All goals of the Project have been completed, exceeding the plan, bringing efficiency and positive impacts.
According to President of the Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen, the Project has raised awareness, aroused aspirations, inspired, created an extensive startup movement among women; practically supported capital, knowledge, and skills, helping hundreds of thousands of women confidently participate in startups and start-ups.

Believing that starting a business has never been easy, especially for women, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Chairman of Sovico Group, shared that many women still have to struggle between work and family, between social expectations and the pressure to make a living, especially for disadvantaged women, ethnic minority women, women in remote areas. Understanding that, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao pledged that businesses such as Sovico, Vietjet, HDBank, Vikki Digital Bank will long-term accompany the Vietnam Women's Union to provide access to capital, improve digital capacity, build a startup ecosystem, train - connect - lead for women in businesses for Vietnamese women.

Businesswoman Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao said: We have seen women starting businesses in small kitchens, women selling through digital platforms even in remote villages, mothers taking care of their children while building a business model. Women are the "silent female warriors" of the private economy - silently but persistently contributing to the growth, innovation and prosperity of the country. And the mission of today's society is to give women the opportunity to shine. The Women's Support for Startups Project for the period 2026-2035 is a new source of motivation for Vietnamese women. When women rise up, families are happier, communities are stronger and the country is more prosperous.
According to Chinhphu.vn, speaking at the Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that the Conference is a very important event to evaluate the 8-year implementation of the Project (2017-2025); commend good models, honor outstanding examples; at the same time, propose orientations, tasks, and solutions to implement the Project in the coming time with the spirit of revolution, further progress, long-term strategic vision, adaptation to new requirements, and towards building an ecosystem to support dynamic, connected and sustainable women's start-ups.

The Prime Minister stated that women play a central role, are a particularly important component of the whole society, and are a revolutionary force that contributes greatly to the glorious victories in the heroic history of the struggle to build and defend the Fatherland of the Vietnamese people.
With the spirit of "Party - State create - Women pioneer - Association support - Developing country - People are prosperous", the Government, Prime Minister, all levels, sectors and localities will always accompany and create the most favorable conditions for Vietnamese women to start up and create effectively, further promote their especially important role and position and sustainable development in the new era.
