On June 10, functional agencies have overcome the storm incident that caused trees to fall in Duc Loi village, Bu Dang commune, Dong Nai city.
Previously, in the late afternoon of June 9, thunderstorms with strong winds occurred in Bu Dang commune, Dong Nai city. The thunderstorm broke and knocked down large mahogany trees along the road, causing traffic obstruction and potential safety risks for people.
Notably, the fallen acacia tree crushed a motorbike moving through the area, injuring one person and damaging the vehicle. The injured victim was taken to a medical facility for health care.
At the scene, a large mahogany tree fell across the road. The mahogany tree trunk and branches blocked the entire path. The incident prevented vehicles from traveling through here.
The Military Command of Bu Dang commune said that immediately after the incident occurred, the unit sent officers to the scene to coordinate with other units to cut down fallen trees, clear the scene, ensure smooth traffic again, and at the same time support people to overcome the incident.
