On May 28, Lao Cai Provincial Police informed that Ban Xeo Commune Police promptly searched and supported to bring 2 teenagers back to their locality safely after being lured by bad guys to work far away through cyberspace.
Previously, at about 12:00 on May 26, Ban Xeo Commune Police received a report from Mr. C.A. C (born 1991, residing in Po Si Ngai village, Ban Xeo commune) about his daughter C.T. S and nephew C.T. D (both born 2013) having left the locality and lost contact with their family from about 10:00 on the same day.
According to the family, recently, the 2 children showed signs of being approached and seduced by strangers on social networks to go to work far away with the promise of a light job with high income.
Fearing that the children were in danger, the family quickly reported to the authorities for search assistance.
Immediately after receiving the information, Ban Xeo Commune Police urgently deployed forces, reviewed relationships, verified the travel schedules of the 2 children, and coordinated with local police to search.
Through verification, functional forces determined that the 2 teenagers were present in Hung Yen province.

At about 10 pm on the same day, the task force of the Commune Police promptly approached, brought the 2 children back to the locality safely and handed them over to their families for management and care.
According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the quick search and support to bring the teenagers back safely shows the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness and timeliness of the grassroots police force in ensuring security and order, especially for teenagers in the face of dangers from cyberspace.
Through the case, the Police agency also recommends that families need to strengthen care and management of their children; regularly propagate and educate skills to use social networks safely, be vigilant against tricks to seduce "light work, high salary", and invite them to work far away without clear information and address.
When detecting cases showing signs of being dragged, seduced or losing contact, people need to quickly notify the nearest police agency to promptly coordinate handling, avoiding unfortunate consequences that may occur.
