On February 26 and 27, the Women's Union and Youth Union of Hue City Police deployed activities to sponsor and support particularly difficult circumstances heavily affected by natural disasters and storms.
Accordingly, the organizations surveyed, connected and received support for 5 cases in the area, including 4 orphaned children and 1 lonely elderly person without shelter. These are circumstances that suffered many losses after natural disasters, and their lives are still very deprived.
Each case is supported with 500,000 VND/month, funds are contributed by officers and soldiers in the unit. In addition to periodic financial support, the Women's Union and the Youth Union of Hue City Police maintain visits and grasp the living and learning situation of the children; and coordinate with local authorities to promptly support when necessary.
The sponsorship activity aims to contribute to sharing difficulties, creating conditions for children to continue going to school, and helping lonely elderly people stabilize their lives.
The program demonstrates the social responsibility and spirit for the community of the Hue City Police force, contributing to spreading a beautiful image in the hearts of the people.
