On February 26, a delegation from Can Tho City Police came to survey the working situation and inspect the facilities at the Can Tho Port Border Gate Police Station, the Can Tho International Airport Border Gate Police Station and the Can Tho Aviation Security Team.
At the units, the working delegation listened to reports on the results of implementing all aspects of work in the past time; the situation of entry and exit; the work of controlling people, vehicles, and goods through the port and airport border gate areas; the arrangement of forces, vehicles, and equipment to serve the task.
The delegation also directly surveyed facilities, working places, professional technical equipment systems, support tools, and vehicles serving control and security and safety assurance; thereby assessing the current situation, promptly recording difficulties and obstacles to propose investment directions and supplements suitable to task requirements in the new situation.
Speaking to direct, Colonel Huynh Hoai Han - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police requested units to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directions of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the City Police; proactively grasp the situation, strengthen inspection and control work; promptly detect and handle violations of the law; ensure absolute security and safety in the port and airport border gate areas.
The Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police noted that officers and soldiers must improve their sense of responsibility, strictly comply with the regulations of the People's Police; pay attention to the management and effective use of facilities and equipment provided; build the image of a regular, elite, and modern City Police soldier, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
