On October 19, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the unit had simultaneously launched a campaign to handle violations of alcohol concentration when participating in traffic in the province.
Accordingly, at around 12:00 on October 18, the authorities deployed 60 working groups with 360 officers, soldiers and 240 police at the commune level to participate in controlling alcohol concentration.
Working groups are deployed at key traffic routes, densely populated areas, entertainment areas, restaurants, bars, etc. to promptly detect and handle violations.
By 10:00 p.m. the same day, the police force had discovered and recorded 117 cases of alcohol concentration violations (including 3 cars and 114 motorbikes). At the same time, 117 vehicles were temporarily detained according to regulations.
According to the Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police, this campaign aims to increase detection and strictly handle violations of alcohol concentration when driving vehicles. This is one of the important solutions to prevent and combat traffic accidents related to alcohol and beer.
The authorities have shown high determination in implementing the campaign to control alcohol concentration with the spirit of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions". The unit will continue to mobilize maximum forces and means, resolutely handling all violations.
