At exactly 12:30 on October 18, after the Director of the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) - Ministry of Public Security issued an order to launch, working groups under the Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police simultaneously deployed a thematic inspection of alcohol concentration at many key routes and intersections in the city.
According to the records, the Traffic Police force arranged closed patrol teams to focus on checking drivers with signs of alcohol and beer use, ensuring order, safety, and compliance with procedures and regulations of the law.
This thematic inspection was launched by the Traffic Police Department nationwide, with the policy of organizing a simultaneous launching campaign at the same time frame, to create unity, determination and effectiveness in the work of checking and handling violations of alcohol concentration.
The goal of the plan is to increase detection, prevent violations, reduce traffic accidents caused by alcohol and beer; at the same time, raise awareness of law compliance, build a culture of safe traffic.
The Traffic Police Department - Hanoi City Police said that the unit will continue to arrange forces to inspect the route and area, focusing on the afternoon and evening, closely coordinating with the local police and functional forces to strictly handle the situation, not allowing violators to resist or evade inspection.
