On February 7, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Tay Ninh Provincial Police said that the unit has mobilized maximum forces and vehicles to organize closed patrols and inspections, focusing on key roads with high vehicle density such as National Highway 1, National Highway 62, National Highway N2 and routes connecting residential areas, amusement parks, and tourist attractions.
According to the plan, the Traffic Police force strengthens the establishment of groups and checkpoints, combining mobile patrols and fixed controls. Propaganda and reminders to traffic participants are implemented in parallel with handling violations, in order to raise awareness of law compliance during the peak travel season at the end of the year.
The violations that are focused on handling include: driving vehicles after using alcohol and beer; speeding; driving in the wrong lane; going against traffic flow; improper overtaking; stopping and parking in the wrong places,... These are identified as direct causes of accidents and traffic jams.
Representatives of the Traffic Police force said that during Tet, people's travel and entertainment needs increase, creating great pressure on traffic infrastructure. Therefore, traffic diversion and regulation plans have been built early, ensuring smooth traffic and minimizing prolonged congestion.
In addition to the task of inspection and handling, officers and soldiers are thoroughly trained to strictly implement etiquette and style, and are ready to support and guide people to travel safely. In the period before, during and after the Lunar New Year, the Tay Ninh Traffic Police force will continue to maintain peak patrols, inspections, and strictly handle violations that are the cause of traffic accidents.
In parallel, the work of propagating laws on road traffic order and safety, new regulations and penalties according to government decrees has also been promoted, contributing to building a safe traffic culture, helping people celebrate Tet in a peaceful and favorable atmosphere.
