According to the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police (PC08), although traffic accidents involving students have decreased in recent times, there have been cases of students who are not qualified to drive vehicles with a cylinder capacity of over 50cc participating in traffic on the road.
The inspection aims to minimize violations of the law, prevent accidents, and ensure safety for students when participating in traffic.
In addition to checking the parking lots of schools, the traffic police also inspected the parking lots of people around the school gate (inviting the school's Board of Directors to participate), and inspected motorbikes (old school age students who are not allowed to drive). The traffic police will check even in the trunk to see if weapons are being kept or not, and the use of helmets is not standard.
In case the traffic police detect a violation, parents will be invited to clearly report the violation, requesting a commitment not to give their children vehicles when they are not old enough to drive, then notify the school to take measures to coordinate with the family to strictly manage the driver's vehicles.
