In order to restore and develop the Red-crowned Cranes in Tram Chim National Park by raising and releasing them naturally, on the evening of April 10, Dong Thap province received the first 6 red-crowned cranes from the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam.
This is a cooperation content between the People's Committee of Dong Thap province and the Thai Zinedine Parks Organization (ZPOT), the Vietnam Zoo Association (VZA) and the International Cranes Association (ICF) and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens One Member Limited Liability Company.

It is known that 6 Red-crowned Cranes (about 7 months old) were raised at Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo and transported to Vietnam by air, including 3 gaping cranes and 3 targets.
After checking the health status, the crab was transferred to Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens to quarantine according to regulations on wildlife quarantine, then transported to Tram Chim National Park for further care and conservation.
The transfer and receipt of 6 red-crowned crane individuals from the Kingdom of Thailand to Vietnam is the first important milestone in the Cooperation Program between Vietnam and Thailand on Red-crowned Crane conservation.
