Expected support level for crops damaged by natural disasters

Hanoi - The city is seeking opinions on a draft resolution regulating support policies for crops damaged by natural disasters and pests.

According to the draft resolution on Regulations on policies to support agricultural production to restore production in areas damaged by natural disasters and pesticides in Hanoi, the beneficiaries of support are individuals, households, farm owners, cooperatives, cooperative unions, small and medium-sized enterprises with crop, forestry, livestock, and aquatic products damaged by natural disasters and pesticides.

Damaged production facilities are considered for support when meeting all of the following conditions: Production not contrary to the provisions of specialized laws and agricultural production instructions of local authorities; having initial declaration registration confirmed by the People's Committee at the commune level for concentrated livestock farming; fully and promptly implementing measures to prevent and respond to natural disasters and plant diseases according to the instructions and instructions of specialized agencies and local authorities but still causing damage.

The level of support for crops damaged by natural disasters and pesticides is as follows:

For rice area:

- After planting for 1 - 10 days: Damage of over 70% of the area, support of 9 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support of 4.5 million VND/ha.

- After planting for more than 10 - 45 days: Damage of over 70% of the area, support of 12 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support of 6 million VND/ha.

- After planting for more than 45 days: Damage to over 70% of the area, support 15 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support 7.5 million VND/ha.

For the plated area:

- Damage of over 70% of the area, support of 45 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support of 22.5 million VND/ha.

For other annual crops:

- Damage of over 70% of the area, support of 10 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support of 5 million VND/ha.

For perennial crop areas:

- Garden in the period of basic construction: Damage of over 70% of the area, support of 18 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support of 9 million VND/ha.

- The garden in the business period suffered damage to harvest productivity but the trees did not die: Damage of over 70% of the area, supported with 30 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, supported with 15 million VND/ha.

- Treetures in the business period that were damaged caused trees to die or are assessed as trees no longer able to recover to normal status; upstream gardens in the period of exploitation of propagating materials: Damage of over 70% of the area, support of 45 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, support of 22.5 million VND/ha.

- Seedlings in the nursery area are propagated from materials exploited from upstream trees and upstream gardens: Damage of over 70% of the area, supported by 90 million VND/ha; damage from 30% to 70% of the area, supported by 45 million VND/ha.
