According to the investor, the AMACCAO - Thanh Cong Waste Treatment and Power Generation Plant Project with an area of about 3.68 ha has a treatment capacity of 1,000 tons of domestic waste/day and night, and a power generation capacity of 20 MW. With a total investment of about 3,000 billion VND, the project has Martin - Germany waste burning power generation technology.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Pham Trung Kien - Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of AMACCAO Group cum General Director of AMACCAO - Thanh Cong Waste Treatment and Power Generation Plant Project said that since being granted the investment registration certificate, AMACCAO Group has been aware of the urgency of the project.
Currently, in the peak period, investors are striving to race against time to implement a series of complex technical procedures in parallel: submitting for appraisal and approval of basic designs at the Ministry of Construction; implementing strict appraisal procedures on fire prevention and fighting; as well as completing contents on electricity planning, agreements on connection of power transmission lines, and many other related legal procedures.
In parallel with the dossier, on the field, we are focusing on preparing the site, negotiating and signing order contracts, importing the main technology equipment for the factory," Mr. Pham Trung Kien said.

On behalf of the Investor, Mr. Pham Trung Kien committed to 3 contents.
First, in terms of technology and environment, AMACCAO is committed to applying the most modern and advanced technology today.
Secondly, in terms of architecture and landscape, the factory will be invested in and modernly planned, methodically, highly aesthetic and environmentally friendly according to international standards.
Third, AMACCAO is committed to mobilizing the best resources, organizing serious, safe, and scientific construction; closely coordinating with levels, sectors and localities to implement the project in accordance with objectives and regulations, minimizing impacts on people's lives during implementation; ensuring to shorten the implementation progress by at least 6-12 months, and soon put the plant into operation in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Hanoi sets a goal that by the end of 2027, it will stop burying domestic waste generated daily according to traditional methods; and at the same time gradually treat the amount of waste that has been buried at waste treatment areas in the city," Mr. Bui Duy Cuong also emphasized.
To ensure the project is completed soon and put into effective operation, Hanoi city leaders requested AMACCAO to fully implement the reported commitments; focus maximum resources on human resources and finance; apply modern technology and automation; organize scientific and absolutely safe construction; ensure that indicators on wastewater, emissions and treated waste meet Vietnamese and international standards.
Accepting the direction of Hanoi city leaders, Mr. To Nhat - Vice Chairman of AMACCAO Group said that the success of the project is not only measured by the construction progress but also by the efficiency of waste treatment, environmental quality and people's trust.
