On April 1, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province said that localities are required to develop growth scenarios, focusing on budget revenue. In 2025, the province set an economic growth target of 8.06% and strived to reach 10.06%.
Gia Lai assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to put all wind power projects into operation, including 384 MW of wind power and 21 MWp of solar power that have been completed. At the same time, the province will also start construction of four industrial clusters in Dak Doa, Ia Grai, Mang Yang and Dak Po, and soon put into operation the Nam Pleiku Industrial Park.
In addition, the authorities are preparing documents and materials to implement the Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway project. When put into operation, these projects will create thousands of jobs for local workers, contributing to promoting strong economic development.
The Gia Lai Department of Finance is responsible for speeding up the progress of attracting investment, auctioning, and bidding for projects, especially large projects such as CK 54 Urban Area, Doi Thong Park, Ho Bien - Chu Dang Ya Tourism Area, etc. At the same time, the province calls for investment in a large-scale and modern market, shopping center, and hotel system.
In the industrial sector, Gia Lai will synchronously deploy solutions to ensure raw material areas, creating favorable conditions for industrial factories to develop stably and increase capacity. The province also promotes investment attraction in the deep processing industry to increase product value.
In order to meet high growth requirements, Gia Lai will focus on developing logistics services and expanding export markets, especially towards countries that have just upgraded strategic partnerships and comprehensive strategic partnerships.
