On April 2 and 3, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Navy Party Committee 401 (under the Coast Guard Region 4 Party Committee) successfully held the Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
For the 2020 - 2025 term, the 40th Squadron Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, unity, closely following reality, task requirements, leadership and direction of the unit to overcome all difficulties, and successfully complete all assigned tasks, in which the task was completed excellently, and was recognized and highly appreciated by superiors.
Have led and directed thoroughly and strictly abide by the Party's lines and guidelines, the State's policies and laws; instructions and orders of superiors on military, defense and coast police missions. Concretize the resolutions and plans of the unit and organize the implementation seriously, drastically and effectively, creating a strong change in all aspects of work.
Notable are: thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing war directives and orders, combat readiness of all levels; strictly organizing forces and means of combat on seas and islands, promptly advising and proposing to the Head of the Regional Command to flexibly and effectively handle situations at sea, not to be passive or surprised; deploying more than 80 ships and boats to perform tasks at sea, traveling more than 47,000 nautical miles safely.
The leaders closely coordinated with the superior professional agencies to effectively carry out the task of patrolling, inspecting, controlling, and enforcing the law at sea. During the term, 395 administrative violations/395 vehicles with an amount of more than 700 million VND were handled. Regularly proactively mobilize forces and means to do a good job of search and rescue, helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
Organized 7 training trips on search and rescue missions at sea; promptly organized emergency care for 9 fishermen in distress at sea; promptly advised the Head of the Regional Command to mobilize ships to transport and distribute more than 350 thousand liters of fresh water to help the people of Hon Chuoi Island (Ca Mau) overcome the 2024 dry season.
For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Navy Party Committee 401 determined the breakthrough in "Improving training quality, creating solid changes in building regulations, disciplining management, ensuring safety; promoting the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and party members".
Strive for 100% of officers and soldiers to have a deep awareness of the task situation, be ready to receive and successfully complete all assigned tasks. Strictly maintain forces and means on duty ready to fight; complete well the tasks of managing and protecting sovereignty; enforce the law and fight against all types of crimes; prevent IUU fishing; proactively participate in search, rescue, and protect the marine environment.
Speaking at the Congress, Major General Nguyen Van Dung - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command - commended, acknowledged and congratulated the achievements that the cadres and party members of the Navy Party Committee 401 have achieved in the 2020 - 2025 term.
The Party Committee Secretary suggested that in the coming time, officials and party members should promote the achievements in the past term and the 27 -year tradition of construction, development and maturity of the unit, united, unified and absolutely trust in the leadership of the Party. Efforts to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress for the term 2025 - 2030, contributing to building a strong and clean Party Committee typical, strong and comprehensive team of "exemplary and typical", meeting the task requirements assigned in the new situation.
The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 comrades and the Delegation to attend the Congress of the Coast Guard Region 4 Party Committee for the 2025-2035 term, consisting of 15 comrades.
