Regarding the fact that 73 CDC Vinh Long employees are owed allowances, the latest information, the People's Committee of Vinh Long province has approved the CDC to use the 2025 estimate to pay the 2024 debts according to the plan submitted by the Department of Health and the Department of Finance of this province.
According to data from the Report of the Vinh Long Department of Finance sent to the Provincial People's Committee, the actual number of amounts that CDC Vinh Long owes to employees is over 700 million VND, including: October - December 2024 preferential allowance is over 549 million VND; Social insurance is nearly 130 million VND; toxic allowance is over 27 million VND.

Also according to this report, in 2025, the Department of Finance is coordinating with the Department of Health to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the autonomy plan of CDC Vinh Long due to changes in functions and tasks according to regulations.
Speaking with Lao Dong, Dr. CKII Nguyen Cong Tuan - Director of CDC Vinh Long - said that up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the CDC to use the 2025 budget to pay debts in 2024, but the CDC is a unit under the Department of Health, so at present it is still unable to pay employees and has to wait for documents from the Department of Health.
"The CDC's 2025 budget has been allocated, so if there is only a written approval from the Department of Health, the unit will pay the allowances for November + December 2024 to employees. It is expected to be paid in April 2025," Mr. Tuan added.
Talking to Lao Dong after the decision of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province on approving the payment of allowances, Ms. Le Thanh Hoa - an employee who has been with CDC Vinh Long for many years - could not hide her emotions: "In the end, our efforts and patience were rewarded. This allowance is not only a financial compensation, but also a recognition of our silent contributions over the past time".
According to Ms. Hoa, during nearly 3 months of waiting, financial pressure weighed on the lives of many employees, especially those in difficult circumstances: "There were times when we felt very worried and insecure. But we always believe in the attention and resolution of the provincial leaders".

Sharing the same sentiment, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hang said that this decision not only helps CDC staff stabilize their lives, but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement.
"I would like to express my sincere thanks to Lao Dong Newspaper for promptly speaking out to protect the legitimate rights of the CDC Vinh Long medical team. Thanks to the support and strong voice of the quarterly, our problem has been of interest to leaders at all levels and resolved quickly," Ms. Hang added.
