The Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Hai Duong province has just issued a Plan to organize the 13th "Hai Duong, a thousand pink hearts" Blood Donation Festival, in response to the Red Journey Program in 2025.
According to the plan, the event will take place on June 24 and 25 with many meaningful activities such as: propaganda, mobilization, parade and direct blood donation. The festival is expected to strongly spread the spirit of "iving each drop of blood - a life left behind" to all classes of people in the province.
The highlight of the program is the opening ceremony of the Blood Donation Festival on the morning of June 25 at the Xu Dong Cultural Center, Hai Duong City. The organizing committee plans to receive at least 1,500 units of blood from about 1,800 participants.
In which, the blood donation force is mainly cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers of departments, branches, sectors, unions; workers in industrial parks; youth union members of agencies, units, schools, enterprises and people across the province.
Previously, the propaganda work was deployed synchronously. The Provincial Red Cross Society will organize a mobile propaganda team for 15 days in the whole province and a large-scale propaganda day in Hai Duong city. Agencies and units increase information about voluntary blood donation in newspapers, social networks and grassroots media systems.
The festival is not only a meaningful humanitarian activity but also contributes to raising awareness of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and the whole society about their responsibility to the community. At the same time, create a stable and timely blood reserve to serve emergency care and treatment of patients at medical facilities inside and outside the province.
