According to the Plan for implementing food safety assurance work in Hai Duong province in 2025, by the end of 2025, 100% of managers and leaders; 96% of food producers and traders; 90% of consumers will have knowledge and correct practices on food safety.
100% of communes, wards and towns organize propaganda, mobilization and inspection and supervision activities on food safety. Significantly improve the food safety situation of food production and trading establishments in the province.
By the end of 2025, 95% or more of food production and trading establishments subject to certification will be granted certificates of food safety eligibility; 90% of food production, processing and trading establishments in the province will meet food safety requirements.
Effectively prevent acute food poisoning, limit food-borne diseases occurring in the province. The incidence of acute food poisoning is less than 6 people/100,000 people.
To achieve the above objectives, Hai Duong promotes coordination programs between People's Committees at all levels with the Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations in propagating, mobilizing and supervising the work of ensuring security and food safety in the province. Develop directive documents, deploy implementation to each unit, and incorporate food safety criteria into the local socio-economic development plan.

Periodically organize interdisciplinary and specialized inspection teams during the Food Safety Action Month, Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year, festivals and other occasions of the year. Strengthen inspection, examination and post-inspection of food production and trading establishments in Hai Duong province and strictly handle organizations and individuals violating regulations on food security and safety.
Focus on implementing drastic and synchronous solutions, proactively preventing food poisoning in the province. Strengthen monitoring of food contamination risks; proactively organize monitoring of food quality in circulation on the market and production areas in the province, warn of risks, and trace the origin of unsafe food.
