Realizing that this was a wild animal, Mr. T proactively informed Thanh Xuan Commune Police and coordinated to hand over the monkey to functional agencies.

Immediately after receiving the information, Thanh Xuan Commune Police coordinated with the Rural Development Sub-Department and Can Tho City Forest Protection Department to inspect and identify a long-tailed macaque individual weighing about 2kg, belonging to group IIB, with normal health status.

Functional agencies have established procedures for receiving and managing according to regulations; at the same time, the monkey individual will be considered by specialized agencies for care, rescue and re-release to the natural environment when conditions are met.

According to functional agencies, Mr. N.H. T's proactive reporting and handover of wildlife shows a sense of law compliance, a sense of responsibility in protecting wildlife and the ecological environment. This is also a practical action, contributing to spreading the awareness of people in joining hands to protect natural resources and conserve biodiversity in the locality.
