On June 24, in Hai Duong City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Department of Education and Training to organize the summary and award ceremony of the Hai Duong Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2025.
Launched on April 21, this year's contest recorded a strong spread in the student community across the province. The Organizing Committee received 13,482 entries from 107 schools. Of which, there are 3,840 exams at primary school, 5,811 exams at secondary school, 3,194 exams at high school and 637 exams at intermediate, college, and university levels. The new point in this year's competition is to expand the number of participants to students from secondary schools, colleges and universities in the area.
The contestants mainly took part in writing, in addition to 40 creatively invested video clips. Through two rounds of scoring, the Jury selected 1,166 excellent entries for the final round.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 Excellent prizes to Nguyen Nam Huy (class 7A, Gia Khanh Secondary School) and Pham Thi Anh (class 8B, Hoang Dieu Secondary School, Gia Loc District). In addition, 4 First Prizes were awarded to students from schools in Hai Duong City and Gia Loc District.
The Organizing Committee also awarded 6 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes, 15 Encouragement prizes, 3 thematic prizes and 2 collective prizes to outstanding individuals and units.
The contest is not only a playground to encourage students to share their love for books but also contributes to building and developing a reading culture in the community. Thereby, forming reading habits and skills, improving thinking and creativity, contributing to nurturing the future generation of citizens with good knowledge and personality.
