On June 3, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Sin Cheng Commune Police are strengthening measures to prevent drowning accidents in the area when students enter the summer vacation.
The Commune Police force has coordinated with forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to survey and review ponds, lakes, streams, dams and deep water points with potential safety risks.

In Sin Chai, Phin Chu 3 and Mao Sao Chai villages, functional forces have organized the installation of warning signs and swimming ban signs to remind people to raise awareness of preventing drowning accidents.
Up to now, the whole commune has installed 20 warning signs and no swimming signs in dangerous areas in 10 villages in the area.
In addition to installing warning signs, Sin Cheng Commune Police also proactively advises local Party committees and authorities to implement solutions to prevent and combat drowning; promote propaganda and disseminate safety skills to people and students.
According to functional forces, summer vacation is a period with many potential risks of drowning accidents. Therefore, reviewing and warning of dangerous points is identified as an important solution to protect people's lives and health.
Sin Cheng Commune Police recommends that parents need to strengthen the management of their children, not to let children arbitrarily go to rivers, streams, ponds, lakes to play or swim without adult supervision. At the same time, people need to seriously comply with warning signs and prohibition signs in dangerous areas to prevent unfortunate accidents from happening.
