On December 16, Thien Hanh General Hospital (Dak Lak province) in collaboration with Becton Dickinson Global Medical Technology Company (BD) officially launched the PRIME Program, developed according to the standards of Joint Commission International (JCI).
This is an important milestone in the roadmap for standardizing the practice of vein therapy and improving patient safety at Thien Hanh General Hospital. At the same time, it opens up an approach to international standards for the Central Highlands region.
The event was held directly at Thien Hanh General Hospital and connected online via the MS Teams platform with experts from Chicago (USA) and Singapore, demonstrating multinational cooperation in promoting quality and safety in healthcare.

PRIME (Preventing Risks of Infections and Medication Errors in IV Therapy) Preventing the risk of infections and drug errors in venom treatment. This is an in-depth program to comprehensively standardize the vaccination process, reduce hospital infections and errors related to the use of drugs via veins. Thereby, improving safety and treatment effectiveness for patients.
In the first phase, PRIME experts will directly assess the current status, train, monitor practice and adjust the process, ensuring compliance with actual clinical conditions at the hospital.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Dau - Chairman of the Board of Members of Thien Hanh General Hospital Company Limited emphasized: "The implementation of the PRIME Program is not only the application of a single technical solution but also a systematic transformation process, contributing to improving team capacity, standardizing processes and building a safe, quality, and sustainable treatment environment.
Becoming the first hospital in the Central Highlands region to implement the PRime Program continues to affirm the hospital's commitment to innovation and improving the quality of patient care. This is considered an important first step, demonstrating the unit's determination in building a safe and quality healthcare system, gradually approaching international standards".
