On the afternoon of April 30, the leader of Ba Gia commune (Da Huoai district, Lam Dong) said that a drowning incident had just occurred in the commune while swimming in a stream, killing 1 person.
The victim was a young man from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
Initial information, at noon of the same day, a group of 5 young men from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province rode a motorbike to Da Huoai stream, passing through village 1 (Ba Gia commune) for picnicking.
While the group was cooking, Mr. Tran Dinh Hoai N (32 years old, living in Long Toan ward, Ba Ria city) went down to the stream to bathe.
While swimming, Mr. N unfortunately drowned. Upon receiving the report, local authorities and Ba Gia Commune Police (Da Huoai District) were present to salvage the victim's body to shore and protect the scene.
It is known that Da Huoai stream at the location of the drowning incident has a dangerous water table from 3.5 to 4 meters deep.
