Long Bien bridge ban for 60 days: Alternative route, traffic diversion in Hanoi
On the morning of March 26, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced the temporary traffic organization adjustment on Long Bien Bridge to serve the emergency repair of the road section on both sides of the bridge, ensuring safety for the Hanoi - Dong Dang railway line.
According to the plan, the entire road section on Long Bien Bridge will prohibit motorbikes and rudimentary vehicles from circulating in both directions during the construction period.
In the direction from Bo De ward to Hoan Kiem ward, vehicles are not allowed to travel across the bridge, they can move in the direction of Long Bien 1, Long Bien 2, then go along the Long Bien - Xuan Quan route to Chuong Duong bridge.

Inspecting Trieu Do pontoon bridge to restart soon
On March 26, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province said that it had just signed a decision to establish an inter-sectoral working group to inspect and assess the safety conditions of the Trieu Do civil pontoon bridge, thereby creating a basis for considering allowing the project to resume operation after a temporary suspension period.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Phong Phu signed a document establishing an inspection team including representatives of the Department of Construction, Provincial Police, Nam Dong Ha Ward People's Committee, Trieu Binh Commune People's Committee and Quang Tri Inland Waterway Management Section.
The delegation is headed by the leaders of the Department of Construction. As required, units must send leaders to participate immediately on March 26. The delegation will conduct a current status check, make a record, make specific conclusions and request the bridge owner to remedy existing problems (if any). Only when safety conditions are fully met according to regulations, the pontoon bridge will be considered for permission to resume operation.
