Rescued 9 fishermen on 2 sunken ships in Kien Hai Special Zone due to thunderstorms

On July 28, Nam Du Border Guard Station (An Giang) received information from the public about a sunken vehicle in an area about 2 nautical miles southeast of Hon Lon (in the waters of Cu Tron Hamlet, Kien Hai Special Zone, An Giang Province).

After receiving the information, the Party Committee and the unit's Command promptly sent 10 comrades to divide into 2 groups, mobilizing 2 tourist boats and other fishing boats to support the search.

By 10:35 a.m. the same day, the unit had found 9 crew members on the 2 affected ships and brought them to Bai Chet Border Control Station to ensure safety and health care.

Verifying information about the herd of wild Wolves after Lao Dong Newspaper's reflection

On July 28, the Department of Agriculture and Environment issued a document requesting verification and handling of the information "appearance of a herd of wild Wolves" after a report from Lao Dong Newspaper.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment requests the Dien Bien Provincial Police to direct the Nu Ngam Commune Police to coordinate with functional forces to grasp the situation, verify and clarify the above information to promptly handle it, avoid causing public confusion or subjects taking advantage of it to affect security and order in the area.

Request the People's Committee of Nu Ngam commune to direct the Economic Department to preside over and coordinate with the Commune Police, Forest Protection Department, Military Department, and Heads of the scene inspection to clearly state the traces, images, and information to have a basis to confirm whether the above damage was caused by wild Wolves or other causes. Clarify the causes, thereby having a basis to propose appropriate solutions.
