Then, at 9:50 a.m. the same day, the unit continued to receive information from the people about an area about 2.5 nautical miles southeast of Hon Lon (in the sea area of Cu Tron hamlet, Kien Hai Special Zone, An Giang province) where a vehicle had sunk due to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

CM-05430-TS fishing vehicle consists of 4 crew members. Mr. Tran Van Doan (born in 1980, residing in Ca Mau province) is the captain (vehicle owner).

After receiving the information, the Party Committee and the unit Command promptly sent 10 comrades to divide into 2 groups led by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nhan.

Mobilized 2 tourist boats Ngoc Lam and Sau Co along with other fishing boats to support the search. By 10:35 a.m. the same day, the unit had found 9 crew members on the 2 affected ships and brought them to Bai Chet Border Control Station to ensure safety and health care.
