As Lao Dong reported, on the morning of July 9, authorities quickly arrived at the scene to deploy an investigation into the cause of the fatal accident caused by a paraglider traveling on Son Tra mountain.
The victim was identified as tourist Hoang Quoc T (36 years old, from Hung Yen province, currently residing in Ho Chi Minh City). Mr. T and a pilot ( controller) took off from a paraglider on the top of Son Tra mountain on the afternoon of July 8. Shortly after that, the parachute had an accident and fell near the foot of the mountain, close to the coast.
The accident caused Mr. T to die on the spot, and the driver was fortunately only slightly injured.
Parading activities in Son Tra are a licensed adventure tourism product, attracting many domestic and foreign tourists to participate.
