According to Lao Dong reporters on the morning of October 28, prolonged heavy rain and rising floodwaters have isolated the outlying areas of Hoi An. Floodwaters have risen rapidly since last night, at flooded areas such as Thanh Ha pottery village, Thanh Ha fish market has been flooded 1.5-2m deep, traffic is paralyzed, and the power grid is completely cut off.
To promptly support, the authorities used motorboats, canoes, and boats to cross the flood to evacuate people from the danger zone. At the same time, transport essential goods such as instant noodles, drinking water... in isolated residential areas.

Phu Quoc Special Zone renoms 46 neighborhoods
Recently, the People's Council of Phu Quoc Special Zone (Term I, 3rd session) passed Resolution No. 21/NQ-HDND on renaming 46 neighborhoods and keeping the names of 5 neighborhoods in Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province.
The Resolution was issued to unify administrative management, in accordance with the planning and organization of the local government apparatus after Phu Quoc becomes a special administrative - economic zone.
