Floodwaters have risen rapidly since last night, at flooded areas such as Thanh Ha pottery village, Thanh Ha fish market has been flooded 1.5-2m deep, traffic is paralyzed, and the power grid is completely cut off.
To promptly support, the authorities used motorboats, canoes, and boats to cross the flood to evacuate people from the danger zone. At the same time, transport essential goods such as instant noodles, drinking water... in isolated residential areas.

Eagerly waiting for news from relatives, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa (living in Hoi An Tay ward) has been standing on 28/3 Street since early morning, she also asked the authorities to find and support the relatives who had lost contact despite being sick with a fever.
The last call Ms. Hoa contacted her family was last night, and she has not been able to connect because the entire area near Thanh Ha pottery village has lost power.
"My relative described that many areas were flooded 1.5-2m deep and showed no signs of abating. Many families had their roofs flooded, all their belongings were broken" - Ms. Hoa said.

After a night of sleeplessness, Mr. Vo Van Dung (name of the character requested to be changed, living in Hoi An ward) spoke in a harsh voice, he was also waiting for the authorities to take his family members out of the dangerous deep flooded area.
Many people have also been waiting here since early morning, worried because they have not been able to contact their relatives since yesterday.

On the morning of October 28, the Military Region 5 Command held an online conference at 20 connecting points to deploy flood response and recovery work.
In recent days, the area from Da Nang City to the North of Quang Ngai province has experienced heavy rain, causing floods on rivers to rise, many places reaching alert level 3, causing flooding at 32 locations in 24 communes and landslides at 34 locations in 15 communes.

In that situation, the armed forces of Military Region 5 have proactively deployed response plans, mobilizing thousands of officers, soldiers, militia and vehicles to key areas to support the government and people in evacuating, overcoming the consequences, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and people.
