On the morning of October 26, in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with An Giang Provincial Youth Union to organize a signing ceremony to coordinate the launching of activities to build a "Cultured City" in Phu Quoc special zone. The program aims to promote the pioneering role of youth union members in participating in maintaining security and order, building the image of Phu Quoc as civilized, safe, green - clean - beautiful, friendly with tourists.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Phu Thanh - Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police emphasized: Phu Quoc is not only a national key tourism center but also an international trade gateway. Ahead of the 2027 APEC Conference scheduled to be held in Phu Quoc, building a special zone to become a model unit for security, order, and urban civilization is an urgent and long-term requirement. He affirmed that the coordination between the police force and the main Youth Union is a strategic step to mobilize the youth, enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of the youth in protecting the peace of life, building the image of a brave and friendly police officer, serving the people; at the same time contributing to building a civilized and modern Phu Quoc special zone.
Comrade Phan Duy Bang - Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Youth Union said that this is a practical activity, demonstrating the solidarity between the Youth Union organization and the police force in performing political tasks in the locality. The An Giang Provincial Youth Union will accompany the implementation of youth models to participate in maintaining urban order, environmental sanitation, guiding tourists and spreading the image of Phu Quoc as safe - civilized - hospitable. Each youth union member will become a "civilized ambassador", contributing to building a disciplined community.
According to the signed program, the two units will coordinate to implement key contents such as: law propaganda and crime prevention; building a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Safe" route; training on skills to handle situations, supporting tourists; launching to clean up the environment, beautifying urban areas; building a cultural behavioral style in the community and young forces.
Immediately after the signing ceremony, the Youth Union of Phu Quoc Police and the Special Forces Group organized a parade to propagate drug prevention and control, ensure traffic order and safety and preserve the environment. The convoy of cars parade through central routes, carrying the message "No to drugs", attracting the attention of people and tourists, creating a positive influence in the community.
