Fansipan white with snow and ice during severe cold spell
On the morning of January 10, Fansipan peak (Sa Pa, Lao Cai) was covered in frost and clouds, creating a rare white scene. At 7:30 am, the temperature in the peak area at 3,143m high was only about 0 degrees Celsius.
Under the freezing cold, frost sticks thickly to the steps, tops of Fansipan, covering branches and blades of grass. Many brilliant flowers are frozen transparently, creating a clear contrast between color and harsh cold.
