Hanoi proposes double fines for sidewalk encroachment
Hanoi City People's Committee is seeking people's opinions on the draft Resolution of the City People's Council stipulating the level of fines for some administrative violations in the fields of security, order, social safety and some other related fields in the city. According to the draft, the level of fines for 47 administrative violations in the fields of security, order, social safety and road traffic in this resolution is higher but not more than 2 times the general fine level prescribed by the Government.
The City People's Committee proposes to double fines for some acts of sidewalk encroachment. Specifically, the act of street vending or small-scale business on roads and sidewalks on streets with prohibited sales regulations may be fined from 400,000 - 500,000 VND.

Vy Da bridge unfinished, steel exposed to rain and sun after contractor's contract was terminated
