Ho Chi Minh City launches Tet tree planting

On the morning of May 19, on the occasion of the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Ho Chi Minh City organized a launching ceremony for Tet tree planting "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" associated with the launching of the movement "City of colorful flowers". Commencement of expansion of Da Nang International Terminal
On May 19, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Company (AHT) held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Da Nang International Passenger Terminal Expansion Project (T2 Terminal).

44-year-old domestic elephant in Dak Lak dies for unknown reason
On May 19, the Dak Lak Elephant Conservation, Animal Rescue and Forest Protection Management Center said that a domestic elephant had just died for unknown reasons.
According to initial information, at about 9 am on May 18, Mr. Y Lit Ksor - elephant owner and elephant rider - came to visit and discovered that elephant P Lang (44 years old) had died, so he reported it to the Elephant Conservation Center.
At about 2 pm on the same day, functional agencies were present at the scene to inspect and verify the cause of the death of elephant P Lang.
