Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on August 10, in Nuoc Mat 1 Hamlet, Long Phu Commune, a heavy rain with a strong tornado occurred, damaging 9 houses of people. Of which, 5 houses were severely damaged, 4 houses were slightly damaged, along with a number of other auxiliary works.

The deceased victim was identified as Mr. T.D.P (born in 2005, from Soc Trang province, formerly Can Tho city). The injured driver was N.T.L (born in 1983, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, formerly Ho Chi Minh City).
