Ben Thanh - Can Gio Metro accelerates construction of 920m long Soai Rap river overpass
Ben Thanh - Can Gio Metro is accelerating the construction of the 920m long Soai Rap river overpass with many simultaneous construction fronts, aiming to be completed in 2028.
Recorded on August 4, on the Soai Rap River, the river overpass construction site of the Ben Thanh - Can Gio Metro project is operating bustlingly with a series of large construction equipment.
Many barges, large-lift track cranes and specialized machinery systems are mobilized to construct foundations in the middle of the river.
At the construction site, dozens of steel beam pipes, pipe piles and positioning frames have been installed, forming foundation cells to serve the construction of bridge piers. The project has entered the foundation construction phase, preparing to build main piers across the river in the near future.

Starting university admissions, candidates are about to know the benchmark scores for 2026
According to the 2026 university and college admission guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Training, from today, August 4th, to 5:00 PM on August 9th, training institutions will consider admission according to the aspirations registered by candidates, and process data on the System to determine the highest aspiration that each candidate meets the admission conditions.
After completing 6 rounds of processing aspirations and virtual filtering, training institutions will enter the admission score and admission results into the common system.
Training institutions will announce the benchmark score results and list of admitted candidates in the first phase before 5 pm on August 13.
All admitted candidates, including direct admission, must confirm enrollment on the System (if they wish to study) before 5:00 PM on August 21.

Da Nang repatriates 3 sets of remains of martyrs suspected to belong to special forces
On August 4, the Team for Searching and Repatriating Martyrs' Remains of the Military Command (CHQS) of Da Nang City coordinated with agencies, units and localities to organize excavation and exhumation of 3 martyrs' remains in Ngoc Kinh village, Ha Nha commune.
Previously, after receiving information from the Military Command of Thuong Duc commune, the City Military Command directed specialized forces to urgently survey and verify.
According to witnesses, in this area there used to be a tomb area about 15m long, preserved by people, incense burned for many years. This is also an area that has witnessed many fierce battles from 1965 to 1974, many officers, soldiers and guerrillas sacrificed but have not been gathered.
