"Red Rain" representative of Vietnamese cinema competes for the Oscar
On September 30, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) issued a decision to send the film "Red Rain" by director Dang Thai Huyen to participate in the preliminary round of the 98th International Feature Film Awards at the Oscars organized by the American Academy of Cinema Science and Arts.
The National Council for selecting films to participate in the preliminary round of the Oscar for the 2025-2026 term includes prestigious managers, artists, directors, producers, and screenwriters, chaired by Director of the Department of Cinema Dang Tran Cuong.

Starting construction of a 210 million VND rural traffic bridge to celebrate the Provincial Party Congress
On September 30, the Vinh Long Department of Health coordinated with local authorities and benefactors to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Duc Lam 09 bridge in Ky Son hamlet, Ngai Tu commune.
This is a project of practical significance, aiming to celebrate the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Duc Lam 09 Bridge is 28 m long, 2.7 m wide, with a total construction cost of about 210 million VND, sponsored by the Vinh Long Department of Health and the regular army.
