On September 30, the Vinh Long Department of Health coordinated with local authorities and benefactors to organize a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Duc Lam 09 bridge in Ky Son hamlet, Ngai Tu commune.
This is a project of practical significance, aiming to celebrate the 1st Congress of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Duc Lam 09 Bridge is 28 m long, 2.7 m wide, with a total construction cost of about 210 million VND, sponsored by the Vinh Long Department of Health and the regular army.
The project is expected to be completed after 30 days of construction, serving the travel and trade needs of more than 520 households, including many Khmer ethnic people.
When completed, the bridge will bring joy and excitement to the local Party Committee, government and people, making travel and transportation of goods for students and people more convenient and easier in both rainy and sunny seasons.
Duc Lam 09 Bridge is not only a traffic project but also a symbol of solidarity and sharing, contributing to beautifying the appearance of the new countryside.
