Many roads in Dien Bien are severely eroded
Prolonged rain and floods from the night of July 29 to the morning of July 30 have caused severe erosion on many main roads in Dien Bien province.
On the morning of July 30, in an interview with Labor Newspaper, Mr. Tran Quang Huy - Deputy Director of Road Joint Stock Company 226, Dien Bien said that on National Highway 6, there are many points of erosion and flooding such as at Km22+200, Km395+259, making traffic very difficult.

A branch of the Nguyen Van Linh interchange underpass is about to open to traffic
After a period of construction, a branch of the Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Huu Tho interchange underpass is nearly complete and is expected to open to traffic in August 2024.
In 2020, the Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Huu Tho interchange underpass (District 7) began construction with a total investment of 830 billion VND (phase one). The project includes 2 branches, HC1 and HC2, on each side of Nguyen Van Linh road, each tunnel is 456 meters long, with three lanes, and a speed limit of 60 km/h; above is a roundabout with turning branches. The underpass was initially expected to be completed in June 2022 but was postponed to early 2024.

Overview of the 750 billion VND hydropower plant about to operate in Lao Cai
After 3 years of construction, the Si Ma Cai hydropower project (Lao Cai) with a total investment of nearly 750 billion VND is about to go into operation.
The project scale covers an area of 45.3 hectares, with main components including: a spillway dam with a width of 60m consisting of 5 spillway bays with gates; a plant area with 2 units; a discharge channel arranged at an elevation of 169.25m; a distribution station and a 110Kv transmission line, and other auxiliary works.
