Ho Chi Minh City adds new administrative procedures for motorbike emission inspection
Ho Chi Minh City has just supplemented administrative procedures for motorbike emission testing, preparing for the implementation roadmap from July 1, 2027 with a scale of more than 11 million vehicles.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a decision to announce the list of newly issued and amended administrative procedures in the field of registration, under the management functions of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction.
Notably, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee added new administrative procedures on emission control of motorbikes and mopeds.

Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes blew off the roofs of a series of houses in Lam Dong
Thunderstorms accompanied by tornadoes caused at least 11 houses in Dam Rong 2 commune to collapse and have their roofs blown off, and many households had to be urgently relocated.
On the evening of April 15, Mr. Ndu Ha Bien - Secretary of the Party Committee of Dam Rong 2 commune (Lam Dong province) said that functional forces are urgently supporting households whose houses were collapsed and heavily damaged after the thunderstorm and tornado that occurred in the afternoon of the same day.
Initial information, thunderstorms accompanied by strong gusts of wind occurred in village 2 and Lieng Hung village (Dam Rong 2 commune), causing damage to many households.
Initially, the locality recorded 11 damaged houses, of which 2 completely collapsed, 9 had their roofs blown off. Some power poles were broken and fallen, and many household items of the people were damaged.
