HCMC is about to build 3 elevated roads at gateways, determined to reduce traffic congestion
Ho Chi Minh City will build an elevated road on National Highway 13, the North-South axis and Binh Tien bridge to increase traffic capacity and reduce congestion at the city's gateways.
On July 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction said it was urgently completing the feasibility study report for three key projects including the expansion of National Highway 13, upgrading the North-South axis road (Nguyen Huu Tho Street) and Binh Tien Bridge and Road.
It is expected that all three projects will be submitted to competent authorities for approval in the third quarter of 2025 and simultaneously start construction in 2026, and be completed in 2028.

U23 Vietnam players excited to bring the trophy home
The U23 Vietnam players have returned home after winning the U23 Southeast Asian Championship in Indonesia.
This afternoon, at 1:50 p.m., the U23 Vietnam team returned home. Accordingly, the flight of coach Kim Sang-sik and his team is expected to land at Tan Son Nhat airport at 5:05 p.m.
After that, the whole team will continue to connect to Hanoi at 8:00 p.m. and is expected to land at Noi Bai airport at 10:00 p.m.
The U23 Vietnam players left Indonesia in the mindset of the champion. Dinh Bac, Van Khang, Quoc Viet or Trung Kien... were very excited to hold the trophy in their hands. Some other players such as Thai Son, Hieu Minh... took the opportunity to sign autographs for fans.

Gia Lai Eliminates All Rough Temporary Houses, Completing 12,520 Houses in 2025
On the afternoon of July 30, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses of Gia Lai province held a meeting to evaluate the results of the program.
To date, Gia Lai province has completed the entire 2025 target with 12,520 newly built, repaired houses, and support for poor, near-poor households and policy families, reaching 100% of the set plan.
Of which, 2,451 houses are for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs; the rest are for poor, near-poor households and households that have just escaped poverty. The total implementation cost is more than 807 billion VND, mobilized from many resources.
