On May 29, in the Vinh Co market area, Mong Cai 1 ward, Quang Ninh province, Market Management Team No. 4, Quang Ninh Provincial Market Management Sub-Department inspected the carton box of Ms. L.T. Thu, born in 1987, residing in Mong Cai 2 ward.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered 23 bottles of gasoline additive solution, type 330ml/bottle, Veslee brand, originating from China, which are smuggled goods.
According to information on the product, this type of solution is advertised to be used to pour directly into the vehicle's fuel tank to improve engine performance.
Working with functional forces, Ms. Thu confessed that she saw a need to use the solution on social networks to increase engine performance, so she bought it from strangers to sell for profit.
Market Management Team No. 4 has completed the dossier and administratively fined Ms. Thu 6 million VND; and at the same time forced the destruction of 23 bottles of smuggled liquid due to not ensuring safety conditions for use as prescribed.
