On the afternoon of October 25, the Youth Union of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the professional departments of the Provincial Police to organize a training course on communication skills, handling situations and identifying crimes for youth union members of the Police and the Youth Union of Phu Quoc Special Forces.
At the program, officers from the Provincial Police Department's professional departments imparted a lot of knowledge such as: civilized and standard behavior skills with tourists; methods for handling conflicts and disputes arising in the tourism environment; procedures for receiving, verifying and reporting suspicious information about security and order.
In particular, youth union members are also equipped with information about methods and tricks of crimes that often occur in tourist areas, such as theft, pickpocketing, online fraud, and crimes of assaulting tourists. In addition, the professional staff introduced popular drug forms and new drugs, ways to identify drug users, hiding - transporting tricks, helping union members proactively prevent, detect and report promptly.
Sharing at the training session, union member Le Huynh Xuan Yen said: Through the program, I have been supplemented with many important skills, especially how to behave properly with tourists and how to handle situations that arise in public. The knowledge of criminal tricks and drug identification is very practical, helping us to be more confident in performing our duties".
Union member Ha Thi Hoai An also expressed: The training course helps us better understand the responsibility of union members in protecting security and order and the friendly image of Phu Quoc. I hope there will be more programs like this so that we can continue to practice our profession, improve our courage and practical skills.
The training session not only equipped youth union members with knowledge, skills in propaganda, mass mobilization and practical situation handling, but also enhanced coordination between the police force and the Youth Union organization. Through studying and exchanging experiences, the two forces have gradually formed a close coordination mechanism, promoting the shocking role of youth in ensuring security and order.
This activity also contributes to building a team of brave, professional, responsible union members "serving the people", spreading the image of Phu Quoc as safe - civilized - hospitable. This is a practical step towards the goal of building Phu Quoc special zone to become a "Stedular unit for security, order and urban civilization".
