The People's Committee of An Giang province has just issued a Plan to implement training and fostering human resources to serve the organization of APEC 2027 activities.

Training and fostering a team of cadres, civil servants, service forces, tourism - service staff with knowledge, skills, foreign languages and professional style to meet the requirements of organizing a major international event like APEC. Improve the quality of local human resources, leaving a sustainable heritage after the Conference.
The goal is to ensure that human resources serving APEC 2027 are of high quality, timely and synchronous, including management staff, service forces, tourism - service staff and the community. Equip the team with knowledge of APEC, skills in organization, reception, communication, foreign languages and international behavioral culture to organize, coordinate and serve the conference. Improve the quality of human resources in the tourism - service industry according to international standards, meeting the needs of serving delegates and tourists during and after the event. Raising awareness, sense of responsibility and active participation of the community, especially in Phu Quoc, in building a civilized, friendly and safe tourism environment.
The subjects are cadres, civil servants, public employees at the provincial level, Phu Quoc special zone and related departments (coordination, logistics, communications...). Conference service force: Volunteers, security and order, health, interpreters, receptionists, tour guides. Enterprises, service - tourism establishments: Hotel, restaurant, transportation staff, entertainment area, shopping. Residential community in Phu Quoc: People in the event organization area, tourist area, small service business people.
The training content includes knowledge about APEC and international integration; The ceremony and diplomatic ceremony will start from the first quarter of 2026.
Security, health care and emergency response; Environmental management and urban civilization, implementation time starts from the second quarter of 2026.
