On March 10, the Truong Sa Island Logistics - Technical Service Center (abbreviated as the Center, under Naval Flotilla 129) supported the successful repair and overcoming of the engine system failure for fishing vessels to continue fishing at sea.
Previously, at about 2 pm on March 9, fishing vessel PY-92014. TS captained by Mr. Huynh Van Minh (Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak province) with 8 workers working in flying fish nets and tuna fishing was fishing in the Southwest of Da Lat island, Truong Sa archipelago, when it suddenly encountered an incident at sea and could not continue fishing. The captain contacted the Center and was instructed to go to the wharf to support repairs.
After arriving safely at the port, the Center sent a technical team to the ship to inspect and survey the damage and discovered that the bolt connecting the propeller shaft to the main engine gearbox was worn, and the connecting bolts were broken and damaged. After discussing and agreeing on the plan, the technical team dismantled and brought the equipment back to the workshop for repair and reworking.

By about 3 pm on March 10, the technical team had completed repair and processing, conducted normal operating load testing, so that fishing boats and fishermen could continue to go to sea to catch seafood.
