On July 3, Cao Bang Provincial Tax Department held a conference to announce decisions on the transfer and appointment of leaders of specialized departments and affiliated grassroots tax units.
At the conference, authorized by the Tax Department, the leaders of the Cao Bang Provincial Tax Department presented decisions on the transfer and appointment of 18 civil servants to the positions of Department Head, Deputy Department Head and Head of Grassroots Tax Units. Also here, the Tax Department announced Decisions No. 1376/QD-CT and 1377/QD-CT, stipulating the functions, tasks, and powers of the Provincial Tax and the affiliated Grassroots Tax according to the two-level government model.
Accordingly, from July 1, Cao Bang Provincial Tax was officially established and operated with a structure of 7 specialized departments: Office; Cadre organization; Professional, accounting, legal status; Personal tax, business households and other revenues; Data management and risk management; Management of land revenues; Business management and support; Inspection. At the same time, 4 Grassroots Tax units will take charge of managing communes and wards in the province.
Speaking at the assignment, Comrade Nguyen Viet Long - Head of the Cao Bang Provincial Tax Department - emphasized the requirement for the entire industry to continue to promote administrative reform, improve the effectiveness of collection management, combat tax loss, tax evasion, and tax debts. Each tax officer needs to grasp the production and business situation of the area under his/her management, do a good job of propaganda, support taxpayers, and become a reliable bridge between tax authorities and people and businesses.
