Accordingly, the Youth Union members of Thach Khe commune coordinated with departments, branches, unions, police forces, military forces, schools and environmental cooperatives, and people to conduct a general cleaning of Thach Khe beach area (old Thach Hai commune).
The forces have actively collected waste, trees, firewood, and wood drifted from upstream, contributing to returning a clean and beautiful landscape to the beach, while spreading the message of environmental protection and climate change response.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Thach Khe commune, a large amount of garbage is scraped, classified, and taken to be processed according to the correct procedures, contributing to preventing environmental pollution, returning the beautiful, clean beach landscape.
This leader added that during the flood season, garbage may continue to drift, so the locality will maintain collection, treatment, and cleaning of the marine environment when detecting garbage drifting ashore.
