    Ha Tinh - While harvesting rice, a man in Hoa Hai commune (Huong Khe district) was unfortunately hit and killed by lightning.

    News from the leader of the People's Committee of Hoa Hai commune said that at 4:15 p.m. on May 29, Mr. D.D.N (43 years old, residing in village 4, Hoa Hai commune) was using a grass cutting machine to harvest rice when it rained, accompanied by thunder and lightning, and was killed by lightning.

    After receiving the report, representatives of the local government and the Commune Police were present at the scene to make a record of the incident and hand over the victim's body to the family for funeral arrangements according to local customs.

    Previously, on the afternoon of May 22, Mr. N.X.T (32 years old, residing in My Ngoc village, Duc Linh commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh province) was also beaten to death by lightning while harvesting rice.

    On May 20, Ms. T.T.B (73 years old, residing in Binh Phuc village, Loc Yen commune, Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh province) went to the fields to give relatives rice harvesting tools in the fields and was also beaten to death by lightning.
