Dak Lak - All vehicles transporting relief goods to help people affected by storms and floods will be exempted from road service fees when passing through Ea Dar Toll Station.

On the afternoon of September 15, Mr. Nguyen Van Thuan, Head of Ea Dar Toll Station (Ea Kar district) said that in recent days, all vehicles transporting relief goods for people affected by storm Yagi in the northern provinces have been exempted from road use fees when passing through the station.

According to Mr. Thuan, the unit has directed officers and employees on duty to create maximum conditions to support vehicles participating in relief work to quickly and promptly reach people in the northern provinces as soon as possible.

The unit will collect statistics on vehicles passing through the Station and related paperwork to later create a file to submit to the State management agency.

The application of the free road service policy is carried out under the direction of the Vietnam Road Administration in Official Dispatch (No. 6343/CDBVN-TC) on supporting the northern provinces to overcome the consequences caused by storm Yagi.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Road Administration recommends that investors and BOT enterprises consider and direct toll stations to exempt road use fees for vehicles transporting relief goods when passing through toll stations.
